Let's unite the world and make a movie about it!

Winning the competition will allow you to make a movie in another country and learn more about the local youth culture

The competition is free to enter. The contest is supported by the Government of Moscow

Stages of the competition

Stage 01

Online submission of applications

Shoot the content on one of the topics and send an application. You can participate alone or in a team up to 3 people

Stage 02

Pre-production.

At this stage, participants from Moscow and member countries prepare for the upcoming expeditions, meet each other through online lessons and masterclasses.

Stage 03

International film expeditions

October 2023 – June 2024

The winners will go on an exciting expedition to one of the six countries and, using the accumulated experience, will make colorful professional films about their adventures and not only that

Stage 04

The final film session and the festival in Moscow

August 2024

In the final, the participants of the past expeditions will go to the final film session in Moscow and present their films, shot during the expedition, at the final festival

Video reportage, video podcasts, animation and motion graphics, training videos, presentation videos, commercials, art video are accepted in the nomination

Movies

Popular science and documentary short films are accepted in the nomination

Nomination videos could not be longer than 5 minutes,to each nomination you need to attach a video card with a short self or team presentation, video card could not be longer than 2 minutes. Application may be submitted once and only per one nomination

Creative teenagers, aged 13 to 17

Countries, where the expeditions will take place

Each is single and unrepeatable, each is full of color, and most importantly, everywhere you can create unique content and get to know new things

Armenia

During the film expedition to Armenia, you will be able to visit the foot of great Mount Ararat, cook dishes of national cuisine with your own hands and find out why buildings in Yerevan are pink. And the most important thing is to make a feature film filled with the national flavor and atmosphere of this country.

Belarus

Find out what the «Pushcha» is and why it is Belovezhskaya, look at the bison and see how Minsk was rebuilt after the destruction in the Great Patriotic War. And most importantly, make a movie about all this. For dessert, real potato pancakes and warm smiles of hospitable residents are waiting for you.

Serbia

Did you know that for some films not just scenery, but entire settlements are built and continue to live their lives even after filming? You have the opportunity to visit one of these villages, built by Emir Kusturica, and at the same time find out how the director shot the film "Life is a Miracle". And, of course, the original Belgrade and master classes by celebrities of the local film industry - all this awaits you in the film expedition to Serbia.

Turkey

Where has Constantinople disappeared? Why is the main cathedral of the Orthodox world located in the Muslim capital? And most importantly — what is Serkan Bolat's fee for one episode? You can learn it all in the Turkish Film Expedition. A real local kebab and Ottoman coffee will brighten up the road between historical sights and filming locations.

Uzbekistan

Did you know that Samarkand paper can be stored for 1000 years? Did you walk on the bottom of the sea, which no longer exists? Haggle at one of the oldest bazaars in the world? Make a movie about the Fergana Valley or about the traditions of Sufis in the film expedition to Uzbekistan.

Kazakhstan

Tasting horse meat and visiting a real cosmodrome — all this can be done in Kazakhstan. You will see petroglyphs and mosques, learn how to build a modern metropolis in the desert. And in the breaks between filming you will get acquainted with the creative youth of Astana. But the main thing is that you will find your own theme for a film about this amazing country.
